Freight Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Sales Representative to join our team at Freight Personnel. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in building and developing existing client relationships, maximising business potential, and calculating Air, Road, and Sea freight quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Calculate and provide accurate freight quotations, tender documents, and sales correspondence
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to closure, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients
- Support the sales team in their sales efforts, providing expertise and guidance as needed
- Manage client quotes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is provided
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or operations, with a strong understanding of freight forwarding and logistics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to calculate and provide accurate quotations and reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
- Bonus scheme with potential earnings of up to £5,000 per annum
