Job Title: Hospital Porter

Location: London Bridge Hospital

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts will vary between 0600 and 2100, Monday to Sunday, with occasional night shifts required.

We are looking for a dedicated Hospital Porter to join our team at London Bridge Hospital.

As a Porter, your main responsibilities will include providing essential portering and security services across all hospital departments, assisting staff, patients, consultants, and visitors as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing information about room facilities to patients
  • Assisting patients with their luggage and guiding them to their designated rooms
  • Managing the handling of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Facilitating parking arrangements for consultants
  • Monitoring and replacing gas bottles as necessary
Expectations:
  • Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy items when required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • A valid UK driver's license is essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
