Based at their facility in Wokingham, the successful candidate will work alongside engineers and other technical writers to document system design, equipment testing, operation, qualification, installation, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Standardize documentation processes and create a comprehensive documentation library.
- Compose instructional documents on various topics, working closely with engineers to gather information and take notes.
- Maintain consistent style and formatting, adhering to detailed templates.
- Promptly escalate issues and questions verbally and/or via email during documentation drafting.
- Support project managers in maintaining up-to-date documentation schedules.
- Work from bullet-point lists provided by team members to generate coherent documents.
- Accurately describe technical information, such as diagrams, to create clear installation or operation manuals.
- Summarize installation team information to create representative installation reports.
- 2-3 years of report/technical writing experience.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with technical writing to quickly capture information with notes, recordings, and photographs.
- Proficient in English grammar - reading and writing.
- Able to interact with multiple teams simultaneously.
