A Client Services Specialist/Technical Writer at UL Solutions is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing client relationships by assuring the quality and accuracy of client deliverables in a professional, expeditious and cost-effective manner.
This role will be based on-site at the Finchampstead, UK office.
**Responsibilities**
- Draft, review and edit documents to ensure technical soundness, accuracy, readability, grammar and spelling, consistency, and formatting, as well as adherence to company standards and best practices, and any applicable regulatory requirements.
- Organize and coordinate assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manner.
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Sales and other affiliated stakeholders to ensure that clients experience superior service.
- Provide support to in-house employees as required (project-related, general writing/editing, etc.).
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Two years of directly related experience in environmental reporting or similar.
- Demonstrates written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.
- Must be comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
- Must be comfortable working independently and within a team.
- Demonstrates resourcefulness and strong critical thinking skills.
**Qualifications**
General degree or equivalent, plus generally one year of directly related experience.
Familiarity with industry associations, technical committees, and industry best practices which would add value to client program management.
Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.
Must be able to identify problems and offer workable solutions.
