About the Role
We are a leading job board platform, and we are looking for a talented individual to support our applications and ensure their smooth operation. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our applications, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing excellent customer service to our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and resolve technical issues.
- Perform regular system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of our applications and data.
- Identify and respond to security and performance issues, implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Participate in incident and problem resolution, working collaboratively with the team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including users and management, to provide timely updates and escalate issues as necessary.
- Follow established procedures for implementing changes and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance our services and applications.
Requirements
- Experience in implementing and supporting applications, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve services.
- Basic server technical skills, including SQL databases and T-SQL.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and convince users at all levels.
