About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Katie Strange Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 5-6 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement warehouse planning and management strategies to optimize storage and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure that production demands are met as per the schedule.
  • Oversee the picking team, organizing pick sheets in line with production plans.
  • Ensure that all inventory is accurately managed and that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all warehouse operations are in compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
