Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

As a skilled Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to perform maintenance, repairs, and services on our customers' machines to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and fault-finding on machines to identify and rectify issues.
  3. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and documentation on a daily basis.
  4. Collaborate with the service supervisor to ensure seamless service delivery.
  5. Provide training and mentorship to apprentice engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  6. Perform depot-based inspections and repairs on machines as required, adhering to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  7. Ensure all equipment is safe to operate and notify management of any defective or hazardous equipment.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant qualifications, such as City and Guilds, NVQ, or SVQ in Construction Plant, HGV, or Light Vehicle.
  2. Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault-finding using electronic diagnostic equipment.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  4. A flexible and positive attitude with a proactive approach to work.
