We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Records System Support Specialist to join our team at Solent NHS Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive support for Clinical Records Systems, including SystmOne, eQuest, eDocs, Inform, and Summary Care Record.
- Work closely with various teams, including Data Warehouse, Performance, and Business Intelligence, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Act as the Local Administrator for key systems, ensuring efficient operation and troubleshooting.
- Lead on operational changes and clinic management of Solent NHS Trust Clinical Records Systems, promoting best practice through regular communication with service users.
- Support the Product Specialists in managing and actioning requests for change to Solent NHS Trust Clinical Records Systems, liaising with suppliers for functional changes.
- Maintain operational support for national HSCIC applications and key local systems, ensuring a quality service with investigation of calls logged to the Service Desk.
- Provide effective interface between users and system providers, supplying diagnostic information and monitoring progress.
- Attend external meetings, such as TPP SystmOne User Groups, to advise on build and support.
Solent NHS Trust is working with other local NHS Trusts to create a new organisation, bringing together community, mental health, and learning disability services from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
Project Fusion is the programme to create the new combined NHS Foundation Trust, resulting in more consistent care, equitable access to services, and a sustainable workforce.
Person Specification- Good educational background to degree level or equivalent, with demonstrable work/management experience.
- Advanced ECDL or relevant IT skills qualification.
- Experience of working in a clinical records system support function.
- Experience of large system and application first-line support and supporting/delegating for senior application managers.
- Experience of identifying problems and inconsistencies within the complexity of the application.
- Experience of disseminating the importance of data quality in an application support role.
- Experience of routine, ad-hoc statistical and statutory reporting along with interpretation of results.
- Experience of working under pressure, particularly with end-users at all levels of seniority.
