We are excited to present an opportunity for a Service Transition Specialist to join our Group Technology team on a fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the demand plan, forecasting workforce needs, and facilitating the transition of projects into operational status. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that all Service Readiness governance checks are conducted with appropriate evidence and that necessary approvals are secured prior to any production deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing a comprehensive pipeline of demand across the organization to ensure alignment with the Service Transition process.
- Support the Service Transition Management process and resources, helping to lead review meetings and assist stakeholders by capturing and distributing issues and actions.
- Maintain the Release Calendar to ensure timely updates and communications.
- Contribute to the preparation of Monthly Reporting packs.
- Monitor and consistently review all projects transitioning through the Service Readiness Process, ensuring adherence to high governance standards.
- Actively promote Service Transition within the organization and lead training and awareness sessions.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A solid understanding of best practice IT Service Management processes (ITIL).
- Experience collaborating effectively with a diverse range of colleagues, both technical and non-technical.
- Proven experience in supporting production IT services within the ITIL framework.
- A strong aptitude for problem-solving.
- ITIL certification is highly desirable.
