Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Estate/Grounds Manager at ISS Facility Services. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional grounds maintenance and management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of seasonal planting, trees, and shrubs to create world-class campus grounds and external facilities.
- Manage the outdoor sports facilities and formal lawns, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet the highest standards.
- Apply approved horticultural practices to landscaping and garden design, incorporating organic and permaculture principles.
- Manage irrigation systems, weed control, pruning, planting, equipment maintenance, and prepare outdoor areas for seasonal changes.
- Plan and coordinate the day-to-day work program for the Landscaping Team, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
- Operate light and heavy equipment, including tractors, mowers, rotavators, sprinklers, and shredders, chainsaws, and chippers.
- Monitor and manage consumables, spares, and materials, ensuring budgetary control and procurement of necessary supplies.
- Develop and implement heritage garden standards and best practices.
- Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
