AWS Senior Software Development Engineer

Transforming Digital Estate
Barclays is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to support the acceleration of a new digital platform capability, driving innovation and modernization of our digital estate to deliver a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its core.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customer care procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to the bank's products and services, including account balances, transactions, and payments.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have solid experience in full stack development technologies, including Java, React, and API & microservices. Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles, Policy Management, and Role Based Access Control is also essential. Additionally, experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure), DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as a Code tools is required.
