German Market Energy Transition Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Specialist to join our team at Gazprom Energy. As an Energy Transition Specialist, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing energy transition transactions in the German market.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and structure energy transition transactions, including renewable PPA, battery, flex generation, green certificates, and corporate PPA.
- Build a pipeline of energy transition opportunities and help the German market transition to greener energy.
- Work with internal stakeholders to build relevant capabilities, pricing, and trading management tools to support the transition to a renewable energy market for Germany.
- Establish and maintain relationships with counterparties and clients in Germany, as well as internal relationships with the Gazprom Energy Germany office.
- Coordinate the execution of new transactions and collaborate with internal support and risk teams to obtain necessary approvals.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments and regulatory changes in the energy transition market and communicate this information internally.
- Previous experience in execution or management of PPA transactions in Germany.
- Knowledge of the German Power Market and forecasting/optimization strategies.
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to work in a new growth area.
- Fluent in German and English.
