Your Role
As a Renewable Energy Market Strategist, you will:
- Analyze energy and ancillary service markets across Europe, determining the criteria for participation for various asset types.
- Assist the business development team in assessing the value of flexibility in different regions.
- Actively represent Octopus Energy in industry forums to promote the energy transition.
- Utilize data analysis, modeling, and market research to guide strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and conduct necessary analyses for upcoming projects.
- Engage closely with clients to navigate the complexities of energy markets and articulate the Octopus offering.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within European energy markets.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex briefs and technical documents, with the ability to communicate effective strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated capability in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting intricate quantitative data.
