Job Title: Head of Conveyancing Director

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Head of Conveyancing to lead our team as a Director of the firm. In this pivotal role, you will manage a reasonable caseload of conveyancing files while overseeing and leading our talented team of conveyancers and solicitors. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, maintaining high standards of service, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Management: Handle your own caseload of conveyancing files, providing expert advice and ensuring efficient and effective progression of each case.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of conveyancers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure all conveyancing activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to ensure continued professional growth and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

PQE Requirement: Minimum of 4 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in conveyancing.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing a caseload and leading a team within a conveyancing environment.

Client Focused: Excellent client management skills with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.

Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
