Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at 1st Choice Staff Recruitment. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns for our clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their financial needs are met.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform various ad-hoc tasks as required, including data entry, invoicing, and other administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience using Xero and Sage accounting software.
  • Qualifications: A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
