We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our fire detection and alarm systems to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, M&E consultants, and electrical contractors to identify sales opportunities and promote our products.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and quotations to clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Work closely with the regional sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, British Standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure our products meet the latest standards.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or a suitable academic qualification.
  • Experience in the fire, life safety, and security sector, with a strong understanding of fire alarm and detection systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems, including British Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
