About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to join our team at Propsource Consulting. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of development projects from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cradle to Grave Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of development projects, from site acquisition and planning through to construction and final handover.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct detailed feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects, including cost analysis, risk assessment, and financial forecasting.
  • Planning & Approvals: Liaise with planning authorities, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on project progress, financial status, and key milestones for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • MRICS is desired but not essential.
  • Experience in a similar role within the property development sector.
  • Proven track record in managing complex development projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
