About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workspace Operations Manager to join our team in Central Manchester. As part of our expansion, we will be opening our new workspace in the Renold Building, and this role will be responsible for the management and delivery of this operation.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in sustainability and supporting sustainable enterprise, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for setting up our workspace operations, including office management, access control, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running the café and bar operation, maintaining stock and inventory management, and delivering against budgeted revenue targets.
  • Setting up our workspace operations, including office management, access control, and facilities management.
  • Team day-to-day management, including recruiting and managing a team of staff.
  • Facilities management, including health and safety, sustainability, IT, and security operations.
  • Contributing to office and desk space sales, and providing sales tours.
  • Setting up and managing onboarding of new members, including office, desk, and meeting rooms, and administration of our workspace apps.

Requirements

  • A keen interest in sustainability and supporting sustainable enterprise.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • People/line management experience.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Core hospitality/venue operational experience.
  • Hands-on experience of membership and/or events sales and promotion activities, to drive revenue.
  • Empathetic, calm, and supportive approach, with problem-solving capability.
