Assistant Head of Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as an Assistant Head of Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Role:The Assistant Head of Service will be responsible for supporting, guiding, and managing a team to achieve customer and service goals. This will involve ensuring that all association accommodation is maintained as a safe and pleasant environment for customers to maintain their tenancies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and monitoring the service to ensure cost efficiency and value for money.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and develop the team to achieve customer and service goals
- Ensure the maintenance of association accommodation as a safe and pleasant environment for customers
- Manage and monitor the service to ensure cost efficiency and value for money
- Administer occupancy agreements and tenancy terminations as necessary
- Provide practical support and counseling to customers on matters such as housing, employment, finance, and social and personal problems
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and health and wellbeing concerns for customers and staff
- Maintain rotas and ensure effective management at the scheme
- Conduct regular property audits and provide remedial solutions
- Experience in managing a team within a Homeless Support service
- Ability to work with vulnerable clients and mediate complex situations
- Knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding regulations and policies
