About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Senior Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with young people, families, and professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health needs, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, drawing on a range of evidence-based interventions, including DBT skills, Mentalisation-based therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share formulation, risk assessment, and care planning, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive approach to care.
  • Support and supervise colleagues, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support and guidance to professionals.
