Aircraft Maintenance Manager

Carbon60 - Eng&Tech is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Maintenance Team: Oversee and manage allocated maintenance tasks to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Deliver Maintenance Inputs: Coordinate and deliver allocated maintenance inputs, projects, and company initiatives to schedule, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
- Staff Management: Line manage staff, assist base maintenance management team, and allocate tasks and responsibilities as required, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Certificate Issuance: Issue certificates of release to service for specific aircraft types within the scope of limitations of QA044 Staff Authorisation Document, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Progress Reporting: Deliver staff briefings and maintain progress logs against tasks, updating Senior Management as required, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Problem-Solving: Overcome barriers to ensure maintenance is completed on time and within budget, utilizing effective problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
- Daily Progress Reports: Ensure daily progress reports are issued for aircraft under maintenance, providing real-time updates and insights.
- Husbandry and Tool Audits: Undertake husbandry and tool audits, ensuring requirements are carried out and recorded, to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Health and Safety: Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and promoting a safe working environment.
- Certification: Category B licensed engineers must hold C certification by aircraft type.
- Type Rating: Must hold a B737 and/or B777 and/or A320 type rating.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in base maintenance as certifying staff.
- Legislation Knowledge: Good knowledge of Part 145 Aviation Legislation.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
