This rewarding role involves providing vital support to young people aged 8-18 who face emotional, behavioral, social, and mental health challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure their safety and well-being within a nurturing and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Cultivate a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the homes.
- Effectively manage challenging behaviors with empathy and understanding.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of the young people under your care.
- Empower the young people to develop independence and thrive.
- Maintain a secure and nurturing environment for all residents.
- Stay informed about each individual's care plan, guidelines, reward system, and preferred communication methods.
- Respond to challenging behaviors with calmness and sensitivity.
- Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable but not essential.
- Prior experience in healthcare or social care settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- You must be over the age of 21.
- Possess a full driver's license and access to your own vehicle with business insurance.
