About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Nights Children's Support Worker to join our team. As a Waking Nights Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trust and develop nurturing relationships with the young people in your care.
  • Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and other domestic tasks.
  • Document information accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times.

Requirements

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a willingness to achieve this within a specified timeframe.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Flexibility to commit to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
