We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children\u2019s Residential Support Worker to join our team in Syston. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trust and develop nurturing relationships with service users to promote their independence, well-being, and strengths.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Requirements
  • Hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe.
  • Be motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in young people\u2019s lives and create a safe space for them to thrive.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children & young people.
  • Be flexible to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,000 (sleeps included).
  • A full-time, permanent contract with 37 hours per week.
  • A 3-week rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
