About the Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator at Abbey Court Care Home. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and organizing a varied program of daily activities, entertainment, and events that promote the wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external companies to organize entertainment and activities
  • Listen to residents' feedback and suggestions to develop a popular program of events and activities
  • Develop relationships with local community groups, schools, and organizations to enhance our residents' experiences
  • Work closely with care staff to coordinate hairdressing, chiropody, and other visits
  • Organize fundraising events and activities for the residents and the home

About You

We are looking for a cheerful, outgoing, and passionate individual with a creative flair. The ideal candidate will be organized, have some experience working in the care sector, and be able to understand the needs of our residents. A positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential.
