About the Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator at Abbey Court Care Home. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and organizing a varied and engaging programme of activities, entertainment, and events to promote the wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external companies to arrange entertainment and activities
  • Conduct resident feedback and surveys to inform activity planning
  • Develop relationships with local community groups and organizations
  • Work collaboratively with care staff to coordinate hairdressing, chiropody, and other services
  • Organize fundraising events and activities for the residents and home

About You

We are looking for a cheerful, outgoing, and passionate individual with a creative flair. The ideal candidate will be organized, have some experience working in the care sector, and be able to understand the needs of our residents. A positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential.
