Financial Planner Support Specialist

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a Financial Planner Support Specialist to enhance our client's team in the Financial Services industry. This role offers a competitive salary range of £27,000 - £50,000.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Planner Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting comprehensive suitability reports for clients of the firm's financial advisors, often involving complex technical details.
  • Conducting thorough market research utilizing various platforms such as Adviser Office, Intelliflo, FE Analytics, Synaptic Comparator, O&M Pension Profiler, and Assureweb.
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed, including preparing application forms, illustrations, and cover letters.
  • Executing peer reviews to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Managing platform-related tasks, including client setup and payment arrangements.
  • Ensuring that clients are consistently and appropriately invested.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Planner Support Specialist role will possess:

  • A minimum of Level 4 qualification, with a preference for candidates progressing towards Chartered status. Trainees should be committed to achieving Level 4 qualifications.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a paraplanning capacity, or two years of relevant experience in the financial sector for trainee applicants.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, with preferred experience in Adviser Office and/or Intelliflo, The Exchange, and online applications from insurance providers.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Mathematics.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a diverse range of tasks effectively.
