Job Summary:

HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Senior Support Worker to join one of our Children's homes in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and follow the home's operational policies and care practice standards.
  • Be the lead person on shift responsible for the safety and support of the young people in the home.
  • Provide and ensure that care is within a warm and supportive atmosphere.
  • Implement individual care plans to ensure the welfare of each individual resident.
  • Offer support and guidance to bank staff and volunteers working within the home.
  • Offer support to the Deputy and Manager of the home.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential care with children and young people, or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people who portray challenging behaviors.
  • Current DBS/DBS Update Service.
  • Access to a car and a full UK driving license.
