Nixon McQuade is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team in Newry. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to support the Financial Controller in producing monthly management accounts, annual financial accounts, and contributing to key business decisions.
The Role:
Produce monthly management accounts, prepare budgets and forecasts, and perform balance sheet reconciliations. Collaborate with department leads and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports, including management accounts and annual financial accounts.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with department leads and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in financial software.
