Job Title: West Yorkshire Peer Support Lead

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to lead our peer support program in West Yorkshire. As a Peer Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing projects that increase hepatitis C awareness, access to testing, and referral to treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and coordinate peers across identified areas of the West Yorkshire ODN network
  • Work in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services, and homeless service providers to deliver educational workshops and hepatitis C testing in community settings
  • Ensure service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care
  • Travel extensively across the region and hold a clean driving license with a vehicle for work-related travel
Requirements:
  • Good standard of education
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of working in drug services and with volunteers
  • Passion for increasing hepatitis C awareness and improving access to treatment
