The Combined Authority brings together five districts plus York, the business community via Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and also takes in the former Passenger Transport Executive (branded Metro). Overall, the Combined Authority covers a population of around 2.5 million people and represents the largest economy outside London.

It is an exciting time to be joining the Mayoral Combined Authority. We have a wide variety of exciting projects that we are working on which will help shape the West Yorkshire region.

That’s precisely what is on offer at West Yorkshire Combined Authority where we are currently developing an Economic Recovery Plan for Leeds City Region that will focus on bold steps aimed at boosting productivity and driving both inclusive and clean growth for a post-2030 economy.
