About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our Education team at Strathmore College. As a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and behavioural needs of our young people, who may have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to young people to promote their emotional and behavioural well-being
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support young people's educational needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of wellbeing policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support to staff on wellbeing-related issues
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives
Requirements
  • Resilience and ability to work with vulnerable young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
