About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transfer Agency Specialist to join our team in the UK. As an Officer, you will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence, and reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, allowing you to balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the operational readiness of a new Transfer Agency team in the UK.
- Participate in data preparation and review, including checking and sign-off during control processes.
- Comply with regulatory regimes, including AML-KYC, Client Asset, Conduct of Business, COLL, Dispute Resolution, Data Protection, and Financial Crime Prevention regulations.
- Undertake daily processes across Transfer Agency, including Deal input, Register Updates, Investor Servicing, cash movements, and reconciliation.
- Take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of the team, acting as a source of technical expertise.
- Work with your Manager to ensure sufficient resources to resolve queries and tasks for all Transfer Agency functions in a timely manner.
- Promote risk awareness, assessment, and control within the department.
- Communicate relevant information up and down the line and escalate where necessary.
- Assist in the delivery of on-the-job training and development of others.
- Attend and contribute to operational, risk, and audit meetings as required.
Requirements
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve results with persistence and patience.
- Highly organized with extensive analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, oral, and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience in a CASS-related role within the financial services industry.
- A minimum of 6 years of Transfer Agency experience in a large, global financial services firm.
- IOC Qualification.
- Understanding of regulatory complaint handling requirements.
- Awareness of Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially advanced Excel.
