About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Transfer Agency specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing complex data, exercising due diligence, and reviewing and implementing strict data quality processes.


Key Responsibilities



  • Contribute towards operational readiness of the new function
  • Participate in data preparation and review, including checking and sign-off during control process
  • Comply with regulatory regimes in which State Street operates, including AML-KYC, Client Asset (CASS), Conduct of Business, COLL, Dispute Resolution, Data Protection, and Financial Crime Prevention regulations
  • Undertake daily processes across Transfer Agency, including Deal input, Register Updates, Investor Servicing, cash movements, and reconciliation
  • Act as a source of technical expertise and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of the team in the absence of the Line Manager
  • Work with the Manager to ensure sufficient resources to resolve queries and tasks for all Transfer Agency functions in a timely manner
  • Promote risk awareness, assessment, and control within the department
  • Communicate relevant information up and down the line and escalate where necessary
  • Assist in the delivery of on-the-job training and development of others
  • Attend and contribute to operational, risk, and audit meetings as required, and actively contribute to Transfer Agency-wide projects and focus groups
  • Work closely with other departments within State Street locally and Transfer Agency Units globally
  • Implement and review processes to meet the changing requirements of our clients and improve efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Transfer Agency processes and Systems

About You


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Transfer Agency specialist who can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant work processes and a broad understanding of related and interfacing activities. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality service, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Requirements



  • Experience in a CASS-related role within the financial services industry
  • A minimum of 6 years of Transfer Agency experience in a large, global financial services firm
  • IOC Qualification
  • Understanding of regulatory complaint handling requirements, with prior exposure to the handling and recording of Consumer complaint cases
  • Awareness of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and the current regulatory environment
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially an advanced level of Excel
  • Administrative and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluent English
  • Ability to deliver high-quality client service both internally and externally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and co-ordination skills
  • Display thorough understanding of key tasks and related regulatory rules, including Dealing, Settlements, Reconciliations, Investor Servicing, Cash Management, Registration
