Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Framework Manager

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (plus performance bonus)

About Us: LASER Energy is a leading provider of de-carbonisation and energy services for the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and own a strategic plan for framework development, adoption, and optimisation aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Framework Development: Lead the development of frameworks tailored to the company's customers' existing and emerging requirements, ensuring they are compliant with public sector procurement processes.
  • Framework Procurement: Produce ITT documents and manage the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and company standards.
  • Leadership and Line Management: Provide strong leadership and line management support to direct reports and build a positive culture across the team.
  • Commercialisation: Leverage and monetise frameworks to ensure the offer is commercially beneficial to the company and demonstrates good value for money to its customer base.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of frameworks and track their impact on organisational efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimise existing frameworks based on feedback, usage data, and changing business requirements.
Requirements:
  • CIPS Qualification: Level 5 and working towards Level 6
  • Experience: Developing and implementing strategic plans, category and framework management, procurement activities, and senior management experience
  • Leadership Skills: Team leadership, mentoring, and developing senior-level colleagues
  • Commercial Acumen: Analyzing complex issues, making well-judged decisions, and taking timely action
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the energy industry (desirable)
