About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance professional to join our team as Head of Compliance and Risk Management. This is a senior leadership role that will require you to develop and implement the Risk and Compliance framework, policies, and procedures for our rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Risk and Compliance framework, policies, and procedures
  • Provide day-to-day Compliance advice and guidance to the business
  • Manage a Risk and Compliance team of 10, ensuring its development in line with commercial growth and regulatory strategy
  • Undertake horizon scanning of the regulatory landscape, providing advice, training, and management updates as appropriate
  • Take on the MLRO and DPO roles in the short to medium term

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement, team management, and development
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and influencing skills
  • Experience working in a hands-on manner, with a willingness to be close to the coalface
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services regulatory landscape
