Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NHS Lothian. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our palliative care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized specialist palliative nursing care to inpatients, adhering to statutory regulations and Hospice policies.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to deliver high standards of care to people living with life-limiting conditions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based, individualized care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Registered Staff Nurse with a strong understanding of palliative care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work a mixture of internal rotation shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our palliative care services.
