About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C&I Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Nuclear & Power business, you will be responsible for leading projects to deliver C&I solutions for the construction of new nuclear stations and systems at fusion research facilities, supporting the operation of the existing nuclear generating fleet, and decommissioning nuclear sites.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to C&I teams on large projects or multi-discipline teams on simple projects.
  2. Project Delivery: Lead projects to deliver C&I solutions, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  3. Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  4. Documentation: Produce clear and concise technical reports, safety case documentation, and bids/proposals.
  5. Team Development: Lead and develop C&I teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in electronic engineering, control engineering, safety-critical systems, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Senior technical practitioner with extensive experience in leading and developing others, and a proven track record of delivering technically challenging projects.
  3. Skills: Strong understanding of nuclear safety case requirements, commercial and client management principles, and sound commercial acumen.
