CNC MACHINIST POSITION
WE ARE SEEKING A HIGHLY SKILLED CNC MACHINIST TO PRODUCE TOP-NOTCH PRECISION COMPONENTS FOR THE DEFENCE AND AEROSPACE SECTORS.
- 6-month Fixed Term Contract
- Competitive Salary of £41,500 pro-rata
- 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible Work Schedule with Fridays Off
- SC Clearance is a prerequisite
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CNC MACHINIST:
As part of our dedicated team, you will engage in comprehensive discussions to identify specific needs and requirements, subsequently crafting precision-engineered components of exceptional quality within set deadlines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC Milling machines utilizing Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
- Handling various machine tools, including multi-axis machining centers, employing diverse programming languages (3 to 6 axis) to manufacture R&D, high-value one-off, or low-volume production component parts.
- Interpreting detailed engineering drawings to produce compliant products.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Proficient CNC Milling experience.
- Familiarity with Fanuc & Heidenhain programming languages.
- Knowledge and application of CAD/CAM software.
- Turning experience is advantageous.
- Strong awareness of CoSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
- SC Clearance is essential
