About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Anjulita Court, a purpose-built care home in Bedford. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with their personal care needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help residents participate in a range of activities that support their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive care environment, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with a genuine interest in supporting older adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding, with a willingness to learn and adapt to individual needs.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, with a willingness to undertake further training and development.
