About the Position
The Marketing Budget Analyst plays a vital role within the Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) team, reporting directly to the Heinz Brand Lead for EPDM.
This position is ideal for individuals currently working in marketing analyst or coordination roles. Your primary focus will be on the Heinz brand, with additional responsibilities supporting other brands like Tingly Ted's. As a Marketing Budget Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with brand marketing, category, and insight teams to ensure successful budget forecasting, manage day-to-day team operations, and contribute to key initiatives.
Your Responsibilities:- Brand Budgets Ownership: You will be responsible for managing all collective EPDM budgets, ensuring the accurate delivery of budget forecasts and supplier payments. This includes raising purchase orders on behalf of the team, handling approvals, and addressing invoice queries.
- Budget Reporting & Analysis: You will prepare monthly reports and conduct ad hoc analyses of team budget trackers for senior leadership.
- Vendor System Management: You will work closely with the procurement team to set up new vendors, including contract registration, system onboarding, and renewal processes.
- Administrative & Organizational Support: You will efficiently and independently handle day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks for the team. This may include registering external visitors, arranging couriers, placing sample orders, and organizing team events.
- Marketing Team Support: You will partner with marketing teams to execute marketing plans for new product launches and campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use common formulas and functions (SUM, Average, VLookup, Count, and IF), create charts and graphs, and utilize data tools for filtering and sorting spreadsheets. Experience with pivot tables is a plus.
- Competence in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
- Additional experience with platforms like SAP is desirable.
- A proactive and can-do attitude.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is beneficial.
- Analytical Skills: As a data-driven company, the ability to translate complex data into clear solutions using an analytical approach is essential.
- Project Management Skills: You are organized, structured, and possess excellent time management skills. You understand how to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them within deadlines.
