Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust asset management strategies to optimize the performance of our properties.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including development, contracts, and data teams, to ensure seamless data capture and maintenance throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Review and assure the approach to servicing and planned maintenance proposed and delivered by management providers and external partners.
- Work with the data team to ensure asset data assurance and accuracy.
- Capture, evaluate, and review product lifecycles and replacement costs to inform business decisions.
- Develop and review standard products and specifications, considering routes to market and customer insight.
- Monitor performance at asset, building, archetype, contract, and portfolio levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize asset value.
- Support the Head of Investment and Compliance in contributing to business planning assumptions for long-term asset investment.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sustainability to explore retrofit works as part of our goal to achieve Net Zero Carbon.
- Strong academic background, preferably with RICS qualifications, and experience in residential property management and property surveying.
- Proven expertise in asset optimization and the factors that drive efficient asset management.
- Technical knowledge of affordable housing products, specifications, costs, and product lifecycles.
- Experience in developing major works programs at asset and portfolio levels.
- Ability to work with developers and residential property managers.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with ongoing collaboration, change, and process development.
