Candidate Profile

Role Responsibilities

As an Overhead Line Maintenance Technician, you will be integral to maintaining our extensive rail network, which accommodates thousands of passenger and freight trains daily. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting planned maintenance and responding to faults.
  • Patrolling tracks and ensuring the integrity of overhead lines.
  • Utilizing specialized tools and equipment, including earth poles and power hand tools, often while working at heights.
  • Assisting in the development of Overhead Operatives and supporting Team Leaders in executing planned work and fault responses.

To minimize disruption and enhance safety, maintenance tasks are frequently scheduled during nighttime or weekends. We provide your work schedule four weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal commitments effectively.
