About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. in Doncaster. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, and conduct preventative maintenance on time to a high standard.
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement and troubleshooting.
  • Coach and mentor technicians on shift, and develop a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
  • Manage contractors, and coordinate/planned preventative maintenance on the full range of MHE equipment within the site.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory utilizing EAM system, and escalate high severity tickets to specialist subcontractors when required.
Requirements
  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems, and experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • Knowledge of Statutory Compliance requirements, and ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to supervise and influence others on the team, and experience of multi-contractor management.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment, and fault finding on building equipment i.e HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
