Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with both internal and external partners to ensure that tasks are executed according to a predetermined schedule.
  • Guaranteeing that all outputs, including documentation and training, meet Thames Water's specifications.
  • Providing assurance of commissioning throughout all stages of project execution, which includes evaluating contractor and consultant documentation for feasibility, commissioning, and final execution.
  • Integrating new developments into existing facilities while proactively engaging with operational clients to mitigate risks to ongoing processes.
  • Leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to facilitate successful project delivery.

Work Arrangement:
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility to work from home within the Thames Water regions, with the expectation of travel across these areas 2-3 days a week.


Requirements:

  • Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and control system engineering related to the commissioning of new plant assets.
  • Possession of an Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in commissioning processes.
  • Proven ability to lead a team of engineers from various disciplines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with all stakeholders.
  • Capability to manage a variety of physical and digital deliverables to meet specified requirements and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £78,000 annually.
  • A car allowance of £5,800 per year.
  • 26 days of annual leave, increasing to 30 with tenure (plus public holidays).
