We are seeking two Material Handling Operators to join our team at our Lincoln-based sites in LN6 and LN5. As a Material Handling Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processing.
Key Responsibilities- Accept and process incoming goods, verifying them against shipping documents and documenting any damage.
- Operate transport equipment, such as hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Capture relevant data in our data processing systems and maintain accurate records.
- Organize the acceptance, storage, and removal of goods in our storage area, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct regular stock maintenance and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assemble deliveries from storage compartments, reviewing them for completeness and accuracy.
- Package deliveries according to shipping instructions and common methods of dispatch.
- Complete transports within and outside the premises, utilizing professional means of transportation.
- Desirable: FLT and SAP experience.
- Warehouse experience.
- Ability to adapt to new computer systems.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
