Menzies Distribution is a leading logistics company with a long history of success, recognized for its commitment to innovation and sustainability. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Van Drivers at our Rhyl depot.
Role OverviewThis role involves delivering newspapers and magazines to customers in the northern region. You will be responsible for both driving (50%) and warehouse duties (50%). The work schedule is a 5-day shift pattern with 2 days off.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and package orders for same-day delivery
- Safely and efficiently load and unload the vehicle
- Deliver parcels to customers promptly and accurately
- Ensure the security of the vehicle and goods during transit
- Complete all necessary documentation
- Assist with warehouse tasks and maintenance
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Familiarity with local commercial areas
- Physical fitness for multi-drop driving and warehouse work
- Ability to pass a driving assessment
- 31 days of annual leave
