Job Title: Transport Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Loom Talent is seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our client's team. As a key player in the logistics industry, our client is a leading provider of 3PL logistics services, renowned for its commitment to delivering top-notch logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end operations, leading all group transport activity and operations.
  • Manage a small Administration & Planning team, as well as c. 10-15 drivers.
  • Lead all operational H&S, Compliance, and Fleet Maintenance agendas across the Transport operation.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and optimization of logistics operations from an internal synergy and continuous improvement perspective.
  • Provide developmental opportunities within the business to support and develop individuals.

Requirements:

  • A Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain Background - Essential.
  • 3+ years Transport management experience within a 3PL / FMCG / Food / Haulage or Retail environment – Essential.
  • Sub-contract management experience - Highly Advantageous.
  • Company Car / Car Allowance (£5,000)
  • Company Bonus Scheme
