Job Title: Staff Nurse Community

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide 1:1 overnight care to a young adult in their own home. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the individual's medical needs, including ventilation, suctioning, PEG feeding, medication, and all nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to the individual, including ventilation, suctioning, PEG feeding, and medication management
  • Work closely with the District Nurse Team to manage the individual's care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive care plan that meets the individual's needs and goals
  • Provide education and support to the individual and their family to promote independence and self-management

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC
  • Experience in community nursing, particularly in ventilation and PEG feeding
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the individual
