Position: Care Support Specialist

Location: Worsley, Manchester

Salary: £13.14 per hour

Shift Patterns: Early Mornings, Daytime, Evenings, and Overnight Shifts

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Care Support Specialists who are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals at our new specialist behaviour support service. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fresh initiative with a vibrant team that supports a diverse group of individuals.

Our supported living service in Worsley is designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where every day presents new experiences. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of those we support by teaching essential life skills, encouraging community engagement, and facilitating enjoyable activities.

One day, you might be exploring the local area with the individuals we support, while the next day could involve relaxing together in the service, watching movies, cooking, or engaging in chosen activities. Each day will bring new and rewarding challenges.

This position is ideal for someone eager to make a significant impact on the lives of others, helping them build confidence and independence to achieve their personal goals, whether that involves preparing meals independently or enjoying a holiday.

We value both the right experience and the right mindset in our Care Support Specialists. A full UK driving license is required. Our ideal candidates will demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a composed approach, along with experience in implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practices, particularly with individuals facing mental health challenges, autism, or complex behaviours.
